It is with deep sympathy that I express my sincere condolences to the Sherard family. I knew Phyllis through the National Coalition of Title I Parents organization. During my tenure as Region II Chairperson, individuals like Phyllis, LuAnn Dyer, Ino Tavares and many others, too numerous to name, were the backbone of the organization. Fierce parent advocates who fought the good fight. She will be missed by many. May God grant her eternal peace.
