The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Phyllis Sherard can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: It is with deep sympathy that I express my sincere condolences to the Sherard family. I knew Phyllis through the National Coalition of Title I Parents organization. During my tenure as Region II Chairperson, individuals like Phyllis, LuAnn Dyer, Ino Tavares and many others, too numerous to name, were the backbone of the organization. Fierce parent advocates who fought the good fight. She will be missed by many. May God grant her eternal peace.
