My memories of Aunt Tina revolve around the fact that she was a strong, smart, independent, assertive woman. Admirable qualities that were perhaps a bit ahead of her time. 

She always would smile warmly and talk to me in Italian and a bit of English when I spoke to her. 

I will always remember her fondly. May she rest in peace.
