Caterina "Tina" Butta, 101, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, August 10, 2015. She was born in Riposto, Sicily on July 30, 1914. She came to America around 1950 to be with her then future husband, Sebastiano, who she met in her younger years while growing up in Sicily. Caterina and Sebastiano raised their family and spent the rest of their lives in New York City and the surrounding boroughs. She always had a special love for New York City, cooking, and fashion.
Caterina is survived by her son, Roy, daughter-in-law, Barbara, and granddaughter, Blaine, and many relatives who still live in Sicily. She will be sorely missed by her family and her loving memory will always be close to their hearts.
