Grandma Penny

Grandma - I hope you know how admired you are. You were such a strong woman, with a gentle heart, who dedicated her life to her family. You were talented in so many ways - like your beautiful crocheting and delicious rice balls that made you nearly famous. Whatever you did, you did with pride and precision. You turned a mundane task such as folding laundry, into an art form. Your love of Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and word search games, kept your mind sharp. Your love of classic movies and music, kept you cultured. Your love of casino and card games kept you light-hearted. And your love and devotion of God kept you strong and kind. You were beautiful on the outside, but your beauty within is what made you stunning. No one ever wants to say goodbye - there is never an easy way. But I am thankful you were in our lives as long as you were. I know you are now sitting with God and all our loved ones who have passed before you. I know you will look down on us and bless each one of us - and continue to watch over and pray for us, as you did here on earth. You will live in each of our hearts, until we meet again. You are loved by so many. I love you. Rest peacefully dear Grandma.
