Obituary for Vincent Thomas Ciaburri
Vincent was born December 24, 1945 to Marcello Ciaburri and Rose (nee Marinelli).
Vincent attended Grady High School and, at the age of 17, opened his own business, Atlantic Auto Collision in Bensonhurst which he owned and operated for 38 years until his retirement.
He was an avid small and big game hunter and enjoyed many trips throughout the lower 48 states and Alaska. He also hunted internationally on the continents of Africa and Australia.
Vincent is predeceased by his parents, his sister Theresa LoRubbio, He is survived by his two children, Rosemarie Ridd and Vincent, his niece Patricia Mikolajczak, and nephew Nicholas LoRubbio. He is also survived by his long-time companion, Michele Ortiz.
Funeral arrangements made by
Andrew Torregrossa and Sons, 1305 79th St. Brooklyn. Visitation- Tuesday, Aug.16 from 2-4 pm, and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 9:45am, The Shrine Church of St. Bernadette's located at 8201 13th Ave. Brooklyn. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
