Obituary for Roseann Di Paolo

Roseann Di Paolo, 66, passed away suddenly on April 16, 2019 surrounded by her family. Roseann was born on December 26, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of Joseph and Josephine Di Paolo. Roseann attended PS 169, Pershing JHS and Fort Hamilton HS. She was a legal secretary for a Brooklyn Law Firm and was still working at the time of her passing.Roseann was a lifelong Brooklyn resident and was a fan of the New York Mets. She loved to travel and enjoyed the company of her nieces, nephews and great nieces. Her joy was children and she selflessly gave all of her time to anyone who needed her. The children loved and adored her just as much as she did them. Roseann loved having sleepovers with the kids and always made sure she had a kitchen full of their favorite treats. She always made the holidays and family celebrations special with signature traditions of chocolate lollipops, prosciutto pie, and Christmas ornaments at Thanksgiving. Our Christmas trees will forever be blessed with her memory and the holidays will never be the same.
Roseann always had a way of making each of us feel special. She would always bring a trinket when she visited to remind us that we were in her thoughts and how much we were loved. Her kind-hearted and generous being made her what she was. The love she had for her family was unconditional and we all felt that when we were with her.She is survived by her three brothers Felix, Joseph, and Frank, her sister-in-laws Sandra and Carol, two nieces Debra and Amanda, her nephews Michael and Joseph, and seven great nieces Madison, Alexandria, Julianna, Josephine, Peyton, Lillian, and Hailey. Roseann will be deeply missed and her memory will live on in each of us.
