Rocco Rositano – born October 2, 1925 to Carmelo & Rose Rositano in Brooklyn, New York – Older brother to Peter(deceased), William and Frances (deceased). Attended Grady High School in Coney Island and proudly served in the NAVY in the Pacific during WWII. Married to Julia Rositano (deceased) for 50+ wonderful years with 3 children – Carmine, Rocco Jr. and Joseph. Worked and retired from New York City Transit Authority and enjoyed bowling, fixing appliances (TVs), traveling with Julia throughout U.S. and spending time with his 5 grandchildren, Jonathan, Samantha, Michael, Kimberly and Robert. His faith in God, love for his family and patriotism provides a true example of how one can live and enjoy all that life can offer. He passed away on February 21, 2019 and is now with his wife and the Lord.
