Obituary for Michael Francis Scarpa
Michael F Scarpa, 46, of Brooklyn, NY, was called home on August 1st, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Scarpa, in December 2018.
Michael, affectionately referred to by his friends and family as Mikey, enjoyed walking dogs at the local shelter. Mikey was well known for his generous heart, compassionate spirit, and ability to make those around him laugh. He had a fun loving personality, and often got a kick out of telling tall tales and weaving light hearted stories to make others smile, including his baby sister, Mary.
Mikey would always make time helping out those around him, friends and strangers alike when they needed his assistance. There was no task or favor he would say no to for a friend.
He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mikey enjoyed the simple things of life, being around family and friends, milkshakes, video games, and reminiscing about years gone by.
He was a kind soul and he will be missed immensely.
