Go outside and play
My dad was no stranger to sports, especially baseball. It seemed he encouraged us to go out and be active, or maybe he just wanted us out of his hair, haha. I can vaguely recall him teaching Joe Jr and me the basics of baseball; throwing, catching, waiting for the perfect pitch. We progressed with the skills he taught us and dove into other sports such as football and tennis. Although we never became professional athletes, I find these physical skills priceless when it came to overcoming certain aspects of life. We will always have sports, and now I can teach my kids as he taught us. Thank you, Dad. I love you and miss you so much.
