Obituary for John Martin Tyrcha
John M. Tyrcha, 61, passed away suddenly on January 5th while vacationing in Hong Kong.
He was born on March 22, 1957 in Brooklyn, NY to John and Genevieve Tyrcha (who preceded him in death).
John’s extraordinary capacity to love his family and friends could be matched by none. His amazing sense of compassion was not only experienced by those in his personal life, but in his professional life as well where he worked as social worker with teens and young adults at Staten Island Mental Health Society.
His beautiful presence will be missed by anyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his loving siblings; Carol, Thomas and Joan (&David) Doherty; his nieces Jill Larney, Genevieve Doherty, Rebecca Artese; his nephews Michael and David T. Doherty; Great nephews Owen Larney and Andrew Artese and his Great nieces, Megan Larney, Madison Doherty and Isabella Artese.
