Chungo was born on May 11, 1968. He was a brilliant child. The family referred to him as "Physical point of view". He was the first grandson of 10. Every year another grandson was born. They all grew up together.
As the years passed, John, his brother Tony, and his cousin Steve, were inseperable. We called them the 3 musketeers. They grew to adulthood and John became a Police Officer with the NYPD. On 9/11, he was called in as a responder. We lost touch with him for a day and were so frightened and terrified, until he finally contacted his mother, Brunie. We were all so relieved. He served for many years until he deicided to move to Texas. There, he continued his duties with the Pearland Police Department until his passing. He had a son, Tony (4) and a daughter, Sakura (1 1/2). Beautiful babies.
He was 47 years old and the family was shocked to learn that he had suffered a massive stroke, a few weeks shy of his 48th birthday. We immediately flew to Texas and there, he gave his last breath, as we all stood around his bedside. It was heartwrenching to watch, such a special, good, compassionate, young person, leave this earth. We are all suffering his loss and hope to see him again someday..
May he Rest In Peace Forever. Gone but never forgotten!!!
