On August 16, 2021, Gigliola “Julie” Hindy passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 90 years old and well-loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Julie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Those who knew her, knew that she was a woman with a fascinating story. She was a true survivor that lived to tell her tale. Julie was truly a beautiful person on the inside and out; and she will forever live on with her family through spirit and the everlasting memories she has created with them.

While her family deeply mourns her loss, they will celebrate the life she lived. It is comforting for them to know that she will rejoin her late husband, Ned Hindy, once again. The Funeral mass will be held at Saint Bernadette, 8201 13th Ave Brooklyn, NY 11228, on August 19, 2021 at 9:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, we would ask you to consider making a donation to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
