Obituary for Emre Ozgu
Emre Ozgu, of Brooklyn, New York passed away on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023 at the age of 50. He is survived by his beloved children, Derin and Ela Ozgu; parents, Emine and Mustafa Ozgu; brother, Murat (Ronne) Ozgu; nieces, Mina Ozgu and Ariel (Sam) Feldman and nephew, Evren Ozgu.
Emre devoted his life first and foremost to his children, family, friends and his community. Emre was a world renowned immigration attorney who immeasurably impacted the lives of thousands of people for the better. It was always Emre’s mission to help others in any way he could. While not working, he spent his time with his family and friends, traveling and enjoying live music. Emre was a kind, compassionate and generous person who will be remembered as a great man and his impact will be forever felt by his family and everyone who knew him.
