Dawn Marion Davis Farfan 58, transitioned on Friday, May 12, 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of love for God and her family, effortless style and grace, and selfless service to family and friends.
Dawn was born on June13, 1964 on the island of Trinidad. She was the first of two daughters born to Irvin and Evangeline Davis.
Dawn migrated with her family to the United States in 1979, and completed her high school education at Boys and Girls high school in Brooklyn, New York. She enrolled at CUNY Baruch College and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Shortly after graduation, Dawn joined the staff at Lehman Brothers followed by employment at Barclays Bank.
On August 17, 2004, Dawn married Sherwyn Farfan.
Throughout her life Dawn was the backbone of her family. She loved her family deeply and stood ready to assist in any way she could. Her strong faith in God and Christian values, unrelenting persistence and personal resilience helped her to triumph over life’s challenges.
