Condolence: My mom Jill Kenney is an old friend of Mary’s from Shallow Junior High in Brooklyn. Mary was such a lovely friend of my moms. I have such wonderful childhood memories of visiting the lively Contini household in Dyker Heights where there would be a room full of people playing Pokeno with all these coins on the table and everyone laughing. Mary herself had a great sense of humor - quiet in her way but when you got talking to her she always made me laugh. And so thoughtful - as a kid I always remember getting a birthday card from her every year - she never forgot. A terrific lady! God bless Mary Contini.
