The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Contini can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Ed Kenney
Condolence: My mom Jill Kenney is an old friend of Mary’s from Shallow Junior High in Brooklyn. Mary was such a lovely friend of my moms. I have such wonderful childhood memories of visiting the lively Contini household in Dyker Heights where there would be a room full of people playing Pokeno with all these coins on the table and everyone laughing. Mary herself had a great sense of humor - quiet in her way but when you got talking to her she always made me laugh. And so thoughtful - as a kid I always remember getting a birthday card from her every year - she never forgot. A terrific lady! God bless Mary Contini. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her extended family.
