The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Idette Brown-Vaughan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Angela & Michael

To the Brown and Vaughan Families Dear Neil, Brandi, Spencer and Amina, Our hearts are saddened by the loss of your wife and mother. Idette was a truly special and beautiful person inside and out. I saw this when we became friends 40 years ago while working together. I always found her to be a very caring, compassionate and generous person with everyone she knew. Idette was always there lending a hand, giving words of encouragement, always supportive. The love she had for her family was evident; she always spoke lovingly of Neil and the children. Someone once said, "When you lose someone you love, you gain an angel." That angel is now watching over you. I will miss my dear friend, but Idette will always be in our hearts. May God give you strength; may the memories you have give you peace; may the love of family and friends console you in this time of sorrow; and may you be comforted in knowing that Idette is with the Lord. I came across a quote from Maya Angelou: "A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again." You're in our thoughts and prayers, Angela, Michael, Maria & Frank
